I’m sure we all remember what happened on 9/11/01. Most of us probably remember where we were when we found out. At 8:46 AM the first plane crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center (WTC). Seventeen minutes letter the second plane crashed into the South Tower of the WTC. Roughly an hour later, the South Tower collapses shortly followed by the collapse of the North Tower.
The above is fact. The rest of this article will be opinion and strictly to be taken of such. I am not a fan of conspiracy theories and don’t believe the majority of the things that have been said about 9/11. I do, however, feel that something isn’t quite right about the entire situation.
A lot of people argue about what actually happened to the pentagon, whether it was a plane or not. As well as the plane that crashed in PA. This writer believes they were in fact planes and for the sake of the article, the opinions will be portrayed as such.
Who was behind the attacks? I believe that Al Quaida was behind the attacks on 9/11. They’ve admitted to being behind it and I see no reason why to question that the actual attacks were done by members of this terrorist group.
I think the more important question is could this have been stopped but allowed to happen instead? We (USA) have some of the best intelligence and technology in the world. The fact that we weren’t able to detect this and prevent it from happening does not settle well with me. How does a plane fly into the most secured air space for over an hour and not pull up a red flag? Why were no fighter jets sent?
I hate the fact that this insinuates that the government allowed these people to die. I do not fall under the group that thinks the collapse of the Twin Towers was because of explosives. Buildings weren’t built for this kind of thing. Experts can create all the diagrams they want to show it would not have fallen like that but the fact remains is they are models. The only true way to see would to build exact replicas and crash planes into them. Not very likely to happen so don’t count on it.
So what does this writer think? That Al Quaida did in fact hijack the planes. For some reason we didn’t take measures to prevent it. We used the incident to go to war in the middle-east. This is just an article and obviously doesn’t go into great detail about all the other details of this tragic day. You can go further into detail and discuss other details in the official discussion thread or in the conspiracy theory forum for this topic. I will be more than happy to reply to comments.
