That's a great point as well. Let's have China do a free healthcare (do they even have a paid one?) and see how that works.

Ultimately wouldn't free healthcare allow people that don't work to get it for free where people that work have to pay all the taxes on it? Just doesn't seem like that would be fair or work.

That would assume that the taxe paying for the program would be income tax. It could just as easily be a sales tax.

i can see that this is a problem. Are you guys willing to pay more tax to help other people? Kids that need help but don't have the money for the care... ?

You got a point there.. USA is a huge country and 300 million people + some. Hmm, what do you think is the solution? What can be done to make it a better place for most people...

That is always the argument in America. People scream and yell about providing better health care "for the masses" like Canada to the North or many other countries BUT when it comes time to raise taxes to socialize health care there is a massive outcry against it. Most people forget that.

The income tax in denmark is 46% and when you top ca 300.000 DKK ca (50.000$) it goes up... and up... hmm... You can't make any serius money here if you don't like to give ca 70% away...
